I’m Brent A. Chaney, a Licensed Real Estate Salesperson serving Upstate New York and Northern Connecticut. I help clients buy and sell property across the ten counties surrounding Albany as well as Litchfield, Hartford, Tolland and Windham counties in Connecticut.
Before becoming a full-time Realtor, I spent 25 years in the business world maximizing outcomes, leading teams, building better solutions and processes, and coaching colleagues to reach their skills goals: first in customer support and IT, then data analytics, and throughout that time leveraging my love of training design & delivery.

It’s almost second nature for me to create clear pathways through complexity while helping those on the path understand how they got there and where they could go next. My business experience spans everything from solopreneurship to Fortune 50 companies, so I know how to negotiate and execute on plans. Being a bit geeky means I know how to leverage tech to find you the right property, or to make your property shine on the market. Being a leader in equity and inclusivity causes (LGBTQ+ and diversity-centric employee resource groups, chambers of commerce, and even choruses!) means I value social justice and the unique perspectives of those we journey with.
